Taking Photos & Videos
Please use the MyChildren's Patient Portal to send photos and videos to your provider.
Tips for Taking Photos and Videos
The images of the area of concern you share with your provider must be of high quality. Here are some tips to follow:
- Take photos and videos in a well-lit area.
- Try to take photos and videos against a solid-colored background.
- If covered, remove clothing in that area.
- Center the area of concern on your screen and make sure it's in focus.
- Try not to use the zoom feature; it lowers image quality.
- If possible, don't use selfies.
- Keep videos to 45 seconds or less.
Photos to Take
Please take photos from different views. We will need to see:
- A distance view that shows the entire affected area
- A few close-up views
